Webkinz World: Virtual Desktop Pets, Plush Stuffed Animals, Games and the Webkinz Secret Code

Webkinz stuffed animals and Webkinz virtual desktop pets have been offered by the Ganz company

since April 2005. The number and variety of of Webkinz stuffed animals is mind-boggling. Webkinz stuffed animals are different from other toys in that they include a special Webkinz secret code that can be used on a Webkinz Ganz website to register and create a virtual pet. Registration with the Webkinz secret code allows the owner to adopt the pet, name the pet, play with it, take care of it, and thus become the pet's caretaker. Caretakers can even fix meals for their pet with Webkinz recipes. Webkinz pets have been designed principally for eight-to-twelve-year olds.

Webkinz Ganz Lil'kinz

There are smaller versions of Webkinz called Lil'Kinz for five-to-seven-year olds. Lil'Kinz pets are smaller than Webkinz pets, about two-thirds the size of webkinz and cost about two-thirds the price of Webkinz. As with Webkinz, Lil'Kinz helps teach

children about responsibility, because it is the children's responsibility to take care of their pets. Lil'Kinz are plush pets for children who want to learn about all of the activities available to them in the Webkinz World. The price paid for your pet includes a one-year access to Webkinz World.

The Webkinz Secret Code

The Webkinz secret code gives the Webkinz caretaker access to all of the games, activities and fun of the Webkinz world. The Webkinz world is centered around the stuffed animal with a Webkinz secret code that allows the the Webkinz pet to come to virtual life after the secret code is entered into a Webkinz Ganz website, webkinz.com. The Webkinz pets come to life on the computer and the caretaker is allowed to control what happens to them. The animal comes to life as a virtual pet and the caretaker can control what happens to his pet. The virtual animal needs to be fed, played with and exercised. By playing online games and working on a variety of jobs, the caretaker may earn Webkinz cash. The Webkinz cash can be used to purchase food and shelter for the pets. Caretakers can communicate with their freinds and family online and become part of the Webkinz world community.

Webkinz Game Playing

There are a varieties of Webkinz games: games played by the caretaker and the pet, games played by the pet, arcade games and games played online by the caretaker and another Webkinz owner. Many games are available. Webkinz game playing teaches the caretaker what needs to be done to make certain that pets have food and other needs. Each toy comes with a one-year membership in Webkinz world. Webkinz games are lots of fun because Webkinz pets and Lil Kinz react with one another on the online virtual Webkinz world.
